2. Hosting at Hetzner

Our public PartGap website is hosted on a server managed by us at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you visit the website, the data required for technical operation are processed. These include in particular the IP address, date and time of access, the pages requested, browser information, operating system and, where applicable, the referrer URL.

The web server stores these access data in log files. This serves the secure provision, stability, error analysis, prevention of misuse and technical optimisation of the website as well as simple access statistics without cookies and without creating user profiles. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in a secure and reliable website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Hetzner in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Further information can be found in Hetzner's privacy policy.

3. Contact

You can reach us via the form on this website, at partgap@data-drive-automotive.de or by phone. In doing so, we process your contact details, the content of your enquiry and any company details you provide, in order to handle your request and for the related communication.

In the form we process: name and email address (mandatory), company and phone number (optional) and your message. After submitting the form, you automatically receive a confirmation of receipt at the email address you provided. For security reasons it does not contain the content of your message.

For enquiries relating to the conclusion or performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. In all other cases, the basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in handling enquiries properly and in communicating with prospective customers, customers and business partners.

The form is processed on our server. To send the message and the confirmation of receipt, we use the service provider Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). The data entered in the form are transferred to Brevo to the extent necessary for sending. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Brevo in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Incoming messages are stored in our email mailbox, which is hosted on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). We have also concluded a data processing agreement with Microsoft.

To protect against automated requests, we use technical measures: an additional field that is not visible to you, a check of the time taken to complete the form, and a limit on the number of requests within a short period. For this limit, we briefly store a non-reversible short value (hash) of your IP address and your email address. Your usage behaviour is not analysed.

The details from your enquiry are only kept for as long as is necessary to handle it or as long as statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Cookies and external content

The information website does not set any cookies of its own and does not include any analytics or advertising trackers. The language selection works through ordinary links and stores nothing on your device. Server-side processing in the course of hosting is described in section 2.

Images are delivered directly with the website. Text is displayed using fonts already available on your device; if the intended font is missing there, a font file is delivered from our own server. No external font services, videos, maps or social media widgets are embedded.

External websites are only linked and are not loaded until you open the respective link.

5. Recipients and storage period

Data are received by the technical service providers used to provide the website and for communication, to the extent necessary for their tasks. Any further disclosure only takes place on a statutory basis or with your consent.

The storage period depends on whether the data are still needed for the respective purpose. Technical access data serve operation, error analysis and the prevention of misuse. Contact enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for safeguarding legal claims prevent this. Where data are retained for such reasons, their use is restricted to that purpose.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

Objection: Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Schleswig-Holstein this is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD). You can also assert your rights with us using the contact details given above.

7. Scope

This information relates to the public information website. Processing within the separately accessible PartGap application and any separately agreed analysis of customer data are not covered by this policy; the respective data protection arrangements apply there. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects for visitors are made via this website.

We will update this policy if the functions or the provision of the website change.
